A House Built on More Than Surfaces

House of Meridian was created from a simple belief: art can do more than fill space.
Art can set the tone for how a room feels. It can slow you down, invite you to look closer, and create a quiet place for your thoughts to land. It can hold questions, stories, and symbols that meet you differently over time.
This is the heart of House of Meridian—a curated art house that treats every piece as part of a larger conversation about beauty, meaning, and perspective in everyday life.
Rather than feeling distant or exclusive, the House is meant to feel like a thoughtful host. It welcomes you in with warmth and calm, offering work that is refined and conceptually rich, but still human, open, and emotionally accessible.
Each collection is its own visual world, with a distinct atmosphere, rhythm, and conceptual frame. Some feel meditative and spacious. Others feel dynamic and charged. All are created to help you experience your space—and your inner life—with more depth, intention, and wonder.
CHIEF CURATOR
About the Artist, Rahman Richardson

House of Meridian is created and curated by artist Rahman Richardson.
Rahman’s work is shaped by a life lived in service, responsibility, rebuilding, and reimagining what is possible. His practice sits at the intersection of creativity, care, and perspective—always asking how art can help people live with more clarity, depth, and meaning.
He is drawn to spiritual, emotional, symbolic, and aerial forms of perspective: the way a city looks from above, the way a memory feels years later, the way a quiet moment can suddenly make everything seem clear.
These ways of seeing become the foundations of his visual language. Through layered compositions, subtle symbolism, and thoughtful use of space, his work is meant not only to be visually compelling, but to act as a gentle prompt—inviting you back to what feels meaningful, inspiring, and true.
House of Meridian is his way of offering a body of work that meets people where they live: on their walls, in their rooms, and in the daily rhythms of their lives.

On Interpretation
At House of Meridian, interpretation is an invitation, not an instruction.
We believe the most powerful meanings are the ones you arrive at yourself—slowly, over time, in the quiet moments when you catch a piece out of the corner of your eye and feel something shift.
This is why we offer thoughtful context around the work without prescribing a single, fixed reading. Titles, collection notes, and descriptions are meant to open doors, not close them.
Meaning emerges in the relationship between the artwork, the space it lives in, and the person who lives with it. The same piece can feel grounding in one room and expansive in another.
House of Meridian also welcomes shared interpretation and dialogue. Whether through quiet conversation at home, notes exchanged between friends, or reflections shared with the artist, each response becomes part of a larger, living conversation. The goal is not to force agreement, but to create a space where people can reflect together and find shared meaning—without losing the beauty of what is personal and private.
